Over the weekend Ben & I had the opportunity to take a trip to Moab! It is the first time that I have been. It was so much fun. We did a little camping, hiking, and off-roading. Here are a few pictures of us doing some off-roading.
(all of the above pictures are on a trail called "Fins 'n' Things" we only did part of the trail)
(the three pictures above are from us coming out of Gemini Bridges & Bull Canyon)
ben told me that i did a good job taking the off-roading pictures for being a rookie off road photographer :-)
The First night we ate in! We had Pasta Roni, with some Bratwursts, and Potatoes! On Saturday morning, we got up and went into Arches National Park and Hiked to Delicate Arch. Lets just say that it was well worth it and that I found new muscles in my body that I didn't know that I had.
I was not really that far away from ben but he looks really little in this picture.
Thanks to the nice guy in the University of Utah hoodie for taking our picture!
just me chillin it on Delicate Arch
After our morning at Delicate Arch we went to Gemini Bridges. When we finally got there there were some people repelling off the bridge. I couldn't bring myself to get close enough to the edge to take a really good picture so i gave the camera to Ben on this one.
We ended Saturday by making our way to Dead Horse Point and then to this Beautiful Canyon! We got there just in time!
Last but Not Least, today when we were making our way home, we stopped and saw Dewey Bridge, this bridge was built in 1916, it is Utah's Longest Suspension Bridge and the Second Longest west of the Mississippi. It was restored back in 2000. On April 8, 2008, a 7-year-old boy was playing with some matches when the bridge caught fire.
This is a before picture that i found on the internet.
These next few are the results of the fire.
We had a great time but we are both very thankful to be home and sleepin' in our warm and cozy bed!
